CEBEK Strategic Plan 2008/2011

During the second half of 2007, the Institutional Commission implemented an important strategic reflection process for the purpose of proposing a new Strategic Plan for 2008-2011 to CEBEK’s governing bodies. The Plan was analysed and approved during a meeting of the Management Board in December 2007.

It comprises 4 approaches and 15 strategic challenges.

Competitiveness

  • To make innovation a strategic reference in companies operating in Biscay.
  • To favour an economic and fiscal framework that will promote economic and business activity.
  • To achieve normalised labour relations.
  • To increase a campaign to promote social responsibility among companies operating in Biscay.
  • To improve the perception of employers in the eyes of society.
  • To reduce the occupations accident rate in Biscay.

Participation

  • To increase the participation of member companies in the activities carried out by CEBEK.
  • To maintain the level of satisfaction of member companies.
  • To consolidate the effectiveness of Institutional Actions.
  • To increase participation by Senior Management in the activities carried out by CEBEK

Representational function

  • To increase CEBEK’s representational function.

Efficiency

  • To consolidate revenue sources in order to ensure stability and autonomy.
  • To position CEBEK as a dynamic, flexible Organisation that is permeable to change.
  • To consolidate CEBEK as a socially Responsible Organisation.
  • To promote continual improvement as a reference of the CEBEK Management model
